Kirkpatrick notches comeback win to stay in A Event

The Max Kirkpatrick rink, curling out of the Swift Current Curling Club, won it first two games at the 2014 SaskTel Men's Southern Championship at the Regina Highland Curling Club.

Kirkpatrick moved to 2-0 this morning with an 8-7 comeback win over Regina's Jamie Schneider. The Swift Current rink trailed 7-4 before scoring three in the ninth and then stealing one in the 10th.

Kirkpatrick will face Regina's Joel Jordison tonight in the A Event semi-final.

Swift Current's Rod Quintin and Reagan Hadden were both knocked out of the A Event on Thursday. Kirkptrick won his opener 8-6 over Whitewood's Lyle Brown.
