SWAC cross country runners advance

140 runners gathered in Gull Lake to run the SWAC cross country meet on Wednesday, Oct. 3.

First place finishers included:

Pee Wee girls - Ariana Richardson, Eastend.

Pee Wee boys - Zane Tully, Consul.

Bantam girls - Darby Jane Fletcher, O.M. Irwin.

Bantam boys - Callen Boutin, Gull Lake.

Midget girls - Kayla Kirwan, Gull Lake.

Midget boys - Rhett Carlson, Swift Current Comp.

Junior girls - Samantha Shruder, Swift Current Comp.

Junior boys - Parker Wall, Swift Current Comp.

Senior girls - Ricki Doyle, Herbert.

Senior Boys - Elias Clark, Vanguard.

The top high school students running in the midget, junior and senior categories have advanced to the SHSAA provincial competition on Oct. 13 at White City.
