Swift Current’s Kelly Wiebe was named the Sask Sport Inc. November Athlete of the Month.

His performance helped the Cougars men’s team place fourth in the CIS and first in the Canada West Conference to capture the program’s first Canada West title.
Wiebe was also named Canada West Male Cross Country Athlete of the Year, a Canada West First Team All-Star, and First All–Canadian Team honors.
At the 2010 Canadian Cross Country Championships, Wiebe placed fourth out of 92 competitors in the Senior Men’s 10 km race, and along with teammates Simon Bairu and Jaime Epp, captured second in the team competition.
