The Swift Current Comp. Ardens finished another unbeaten regular season in the Moose Jaw High School Soccer League with a 9-0 win over the visiting Moose Jaw Vanier Spirits Thursday.

It was a meaningless game for the Ardens in the standings, but it was one more chance for the Ardens to display their dominance in front of their hometown fans as they stretched their league unbeaten streak to 43 games over four seasons.

Grade 12 striker Cassidy Andres led the Ardens with five goals and one assist as she clinched the league scoring title for a third straight season with 26 goals in eight games.

Santana Gowan, Kelsey Therrien, and Kaylynn Ziegler all had a goal and an assist for the Ardens. Jade Addai also scored, while Emilie Erlandson, Kirstie Klevgaard, Andrea Erlandson, and Kaylee Kyle all added assists.

Britney Cleaveley picked up the win in goal as the Ardens finished 8-0 with 76 goals for and only one conceded in the regular season.

The Ardens will be in Moose Jaw Thursday to play in the semifinal as they look to move one step closer to a record fourth consecutive league title.
