The 15th annual Southwest SoccerFest tournament opened play on Friday evening in Swift Current. Not surprisingly, the tournament began in wet conditions, which it is almost always played in.
Four under-10 Swift Current Foresters United Soccer Club teams opened the schedule on Friday.
Action will continue all day Saturday and Sunday at O.M. Irwin and the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Fields.
Teams from Swift Current, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Medicine Hat, Prince Albert, Regina, and Coaldale will all be taking part.
