Herbert Stampede underway

Clayton Strutt took a wild ride aboard R31 in the Bareback Riding event at the Herbert Stampede on Friday.

The 24th Annual Herbert Stampede got off to a rousing start on Friday evening in the first of three performances.

The second performance will go on Saturday at 2 p.m. The third and final performance goes Sunday at 2 p.m. as well.

The Canadian Cowboy's Association approved rodeo features competitors from across the Prairies.

Saturday evening will also feature the annual dance, beginning at 9 p.m., with music by Long Shot.
