The return of spring marks the end of the outdoor rink schedule in Swift Current, but not after a record year. The rinks, which are free to use, recorded their highest usage in 25 years.

"This year the rinks had over 30,000 visits and skaters. These usage numbers prove that the outdoor rinks meet a great need in the community for winter recreation," noted Andy Toth, Parks Manager for the City of Swift Current.
