Regina silver for 15U SunDogs

The 15U Junior SunDogs girl’s volleyball team participated in the Regina QCVC 15U tournament over the weekend and placed second overall.

They split their first match with the Regina Crush (19-25, 25-16) before rattling off four straight wins.

The 15U SunDogs rebounded with wins over Waldheim (25-13, 25-23) and Martensville (25-12, 25-20) to place first in their pool.

They opened the playoffs with a three-set win over Rose Valley, losing the first set 22-25 before winning 25-19 and then taking the tie-breaker 15-11.

They advanced to the gold medal match with a straight sets win over RVC Regina (25-22, 25-20).

The Junior SunDogs faced Lumsden in the championship match and lost in straight sets (20-25, 17-25) to bring home a silver medal.

The 15U SunDogs will be back in action April 6-7 in Saskatoon.
