Junior SunDogs Club Volleyball will be hosting a six-team tournament at the Swift Current Comp. High School Gym on Sunday.

The tournament will be in the 16 & under boys division, with both the 16U boys and 15U boys Junior SunDogs teams competing in it.  Teams from Moose Jaw, Waldheim, and a pair of Regina squads will also take part.

The 16U boys team, coached by Adam Wilson, have competed in one tournament this year, bringing home the gold medal in a Sask Cup tourny held in Moose Jaw on Feb. 3.  They defeated Waldheim in a hotly-contested final, so the two will battle again this weekend.

The 15U boys, coached by Dan Andrie, also competed in the Moose Jaw Sask Cup tournament and brought home the silver medal in their division.  They will be playing up an age division on Sunday.

The two local teams will open the tournament against one another on Sunday at 9 a.m. Action continues throughout the day, concluding with the semi-finals at 6 p.m. and the final at 7 p.m. There is no admission for spectators.
