Strong start for 18U Junior SunDogs

The Swift Current 18U Junior SunDogs mens volleyball team got off to a great start to their season by taking the silver medal at the SaskCup over the weekend in Saskatoon.

The eight-team tournament featured some tough competition from around the province but with consistent and patient play, the Sundogs were able to make it to the gold medal final.

Unfortunately for the Sundogs they ran into the provincial silver medal winners from last year and were upset in two straight games by the Saskatoon Huskies club team.

The 18U Junior SunDogs will be back in action in March for tournaments in Moose Jaw and Regina.
