Millar Edge down SunDogs

The Great Plains College SunDogs men’s basketball team, new recruits in tow, lost 93-61 on Wednesday to the host Millar Edge in Alberta College Athletic League regular season action.

Forward Duane Reimer returned from injury in the contest and Donnie Klepp led the SunDogs with 43 points.

The SunDogs' next league game is Saturday at home against the Canadian University College Aurora. Injured guard Chad McLeod is expected to return against CUC, which sits second in the ACAL standings with a 7-2 record.

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. at O.M. Irwin School.
