Junior Ardens get past Rebelles

The Swift Current Junior Ardens downed Maple Creek 55-42 on Thursday.

The host Swift Current Comp. Junior Ardens ran their way to a 55-42 win over the visiting Maple Creek Rebelles in SWAC action on Thursday.

Grade 12 Megan Rumpel led the Junior Ardens with 16 points as they erased a 21-19 deficit at halftime, outscoring the Rebelles 36-21 over the final two quarters.

Jessey Eben added 10 points and Balsam Arwani added nine of her own for the Ardens.

K. Chabot scored 20 points for the Rebelles before fouling out in the fourth quarter.
