Fairview Pool closing for summer this Sunday

Children are running out of time to enjoy the final days of summer holidays and the final days of summer fun at the Fairview Pool.

The Fairview Pool will sound their clear the pool buzzer for the final time on Sunday at 9 p.m. to signal the end of the outdoor pool season.

Swimmers will then have to wait an extra week to get back in the water, with the city moving back the first week of operations at the Aquatic Centre to Sept. 8. The delay by an extra week will allow the training of additional lifeguards and instructors for the upcoming indoor pool year. The Aquatic Centre will be open at 9 a.m. on Sept. 8.
