Rampage winding down season

The Swift Current Dickson Agencies Rampage lacrosse team will conclude their season this weekend in Regina at the 2009 Prairie Gold Lacrosse League Playoffs at the Al Ritchie Arena.

On Friday the Rampage will face the Yorkton Bulldogs at 7 p.m. in the eighth versus ninth-place game.

The Rampage finished the season with a 2-8-0-0 record in eighth-place and scored 49 goals and allowed 103.

The Swift Current Dickson Agencies Rampage lacrosse team will conclude their season this weekend in Regina at the 2009 Prairie Gold Lacrosse League Playoffs at the Al Ritchie Arena.

On Friday the Rampage will face the Yorkton Bulldogs at 7 p.m. in the eighth versus ninth-place game.

The Rampage finished the season with a 2-8-0-0 record in eighth-place and scored 49 goals and allowed 103.

The Bulldogs finished in ninth with an identical 2-8-0-0- record scoring 41 goals and allowing 99.

In their only meeting of the season the Rampage defeated the Bulldogs 8-1 led by a hat trick from Matt Pavlovic.

Pavlovic led the Rampage with 15 goals and five assists in seven games followed by Matt Pierce with six goals and 10 assists in nine games.

In goal Cody Hagman sports a 2-6-0 record with a 9.26 goals against average.

Yorkton is led by Brendon Turberfield who tallied 14 goals and six assists in 10 games. Goaltender Louden Chotulk finished with a 2-3-0 record and a 6.95 GAA.

The Saskatoon Steelers, Prince Albert Predators, Regina Riot, and Moose Jaw Mustangs all remain in contention for the league championship and will square off in the semi-finals on Saturday.
