Swift Current hosts successful Great Strides Walk

Great Strides Walk 2009 (for Cystic Fibrosis) was a great success in Swift Current.

Great Strides Walk 2009 (for Cystic Fibrosis) was a great success in Swift Current.

Approximately 90 walkers participated in the walk and brought in a combined total of $21,417, surpassing last year's total by $500.

Several prizes were handed out and a BBQ sponsored by the Swift Current Kinsmen and Kinettes followed the walk.

This year's total across Canada reached $2.2 million.
