What better way to get your children active than by taking part in the City of Swift Current's free public skating and swimming times for children 6-11.?This opportunity is made possible thanks to the generous donation made by Swift Current Elks Lodge to help offset the costs of operation during the free public time.

The?Elks Lodge deserves a great deal of thanks, according to Aquatic Superintendent Miriam Hornell.
"Participation in regular physical activity has a positive impact on behavior and healthy lifestyles in youth. With the generosity of the Elks Lodge more children and families will have the opportunity for participation."
Public swims take place on a regular basis Tuesdays 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Aquatic Centre. Public Skating is available weekly at both the Credit Union i-plex and the Fairview Arenas with a Sunday family skate, sponsored by the?Elk's Lodge, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the i-plex.
