Swift Current hosting Nature Sask. Fall meeting Sept. 26-28

The unique beauty of Southwest Saskatchewan will be on display later this month when Swift Current hosts Nature Saskatchewan's Fall 2008 Meet.

The Sept. 26 to 28 event features nature tours, social gatherings, the Larry Morgotch Photography Competition, along with the fall business meeting of Nature Saskatchewan. The Days Inn is the host location for the annual event.

The unique beauty of Southwest Saskatchewan will be on display later this month when Swift Current hosts Nature Saskatchewan's Fall 2008 Meet.

The Sept. 26 to 28 event features nature tours, social gatherings, the Larry Morgotch Photography Competition, along with the fall business meeting of Nature Saskatchewan. The Days Inn is the host location for the annual event.

Among the highlights of the weekend will be a pair of full-day field trips. One is a geological tour lead by Harold Steppuhn, with the other focussing on the Great Sand Hills.

The Fall Meet in Swift Current is a project of the SouthWest Naturalists Society and Nature Saskatchewan and is expected to draw 100 or more participants. All events are open to the public.
