City grass fire lit by child

Swift Current Fire Department crews extinguished a brush/grass fire on Friday which was reportedly started by a child with a lighter.
Crews responded to a grass fire in the 400 block between 4th Ave. and 6th Ave. N.E. at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Friday. It took three full-time and three auxiliary firefighters to extinguish the fire.
