Raiders riding two-game winning streak

The Swift Current Kabos Bantam are suddenly riding a two-game winning streak after defeating the Regina Monarchs for a second straight game Monday.

Hunter Lamb scored the game wining goal with 1:17 left in regulation for a 7-6 road win. The Raiders trailed 5-2 after one period before scoring five of the last six goals for their third win of the season.

Captain Caleb Stevenson netted a hat trick in a second straight game and now has nine points in his past four games. Tyde Hutchinson had two goals and an assist, Lamb finished with two goals, and Dryden Smith and Jonas Sadden both added two assists. Jackson Tonnies and Cayden Price also added assists and Josh Soper picked up the win in goal.

The Raiders improved to 3-23-1-0 in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League with their second straight win. The Monarchs dropped to 7-18-2-0 in the loss.

The Raiders will back on home ice Friday when they host the North East Wolfpack (14-7-5) at 5:15 p.m. at Fairview West Arena.
