2013-14 Swift Current Bantam Raiders

The Swift Current Kabos Raiders ended a 10-game losing streak with an emphatic 9-5 victory over the visiting Regina Monarchs Saturday.

The Raiders trailed 2-1 after one period before outscoring the visitors 8-3 the rest of the way, led by three goals and an assist from captain Caleb Stevenson and two goals and two assists from Hunter Lamb.

Braden Levac added two goals and an assist, while Jonas Sadden and Tyde Hutchinson each registered a goal and two assists. Jackson Tonnies, Mason Pederson, Dayne Stenson, Aaron Wittmier, and Nathan Wik all added assists and Jeremy Brumwell picked up the win in goal.

It was the Raiders second win of the season in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League and their first since December 4 as they improved to 2-23-1.

The two teams will rematch tonight in Regina.  The Raiders will also get a visit from the North East Wolfpack on Friday at 5:15 p.m. at Fairview West Arena. They will also visit the Notre Dame Hounds on Sunday in Wilcox.
