The Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League leading Notre Dame Argos had little trouble against the last place Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires in a 10-1 blowout victory on Tuesday.

The Legionnaires have now lost 13 straight games, with their last win coming back on Nov. 23.

The Argos pounced into a 3-0 first period advantage while outshooting the hosts by a 20-6 margin. While Notre Dame only outshot the Legionnaires 23-19 over the next two periods, the league leaders pulled into a 5-1 lead after two periods before adding five unanswered markers in the final frame.

Reid Fritzke had the lone Legionnaires goal, scoring on the power play with just eight seconds left in the second period. Chaseton Sare and Connor Odelein picked up assists on the goal.
