The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires dropped their 10th consecutive game in a 6-1 loss to the host Regina Pat Canadians Wednesday.
Regina got goals from six different skaters before the Legionnaires got on the board. Dawson Tangen scored midway through the third period, his third goal of the season, as the Legionnaires outshot the hosts 16-11 in the final period with the game already out of reach. Carter Doerksen and Tristan Hermanson added assists.
Arthur Miller, Michael Eskra, Jayden Halbgewachs, Conner Chaulk, Tyler Adams, and Kaiden Jones all scored for the Pat Canadians, who improved to 16-11-3-1.
Shane Blomquist suffered the loss with 35 saves. Logan Flodell picked up the win with 33 saves on 34 shots for Regina.
The Legionnaires dropped to 6-21-2-1 in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League with the loss.
The Legionnaires will play their next four games at home beginning Saturday against the Yorkton Harvest (10-15-4-2) at 2:15 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Credit Union iplex.
