Team South West announces boys hockey roster for Saskatchewan Winter Games

A diverse group of Southwest skaters will represent District Three in boys ice hockey at the 2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games.

The Shaunavon Badgers lead the way with three players named to the 20-man roster. Defenseman Damon Legault (Val Marie) and forwards Lane Pritchard (Shaunavon) and Rhett Stevenson (Shaunavon) will skate at the Games.

The Ponteix Penguins will be represented by forwards Tanner Kendall (Cadillac) and Rylan Switzer (Ponteix).

Two members of the Swift Current Bantam AA Raiders, defenseman Jackson Tonnies (Swift Current) and forward Hunter Lamb (Swift Current), will also skate for the team.

The 2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games will be held February 16-22 in Prince Albert with boys hockey slated for the first half of the games. Team South West will open the tournament on February 16 against Prairie Central.
