South West Cyclones hosting Regina Shamrocks this weekend

The South West Cyclones will look to get back into the win column this weekend when they host the Regina Shamrocks in the South Sask Female Bantam A Hockey League.

The Cyclones have jumped out to a 8-1-0 record and sit second in the nine-team league but are coming off a loss to the unbeaten Estevan Chargers in their most recent action. Regina sits fourth with a 6-4-1 record heading into the weekend.

Jenessa Fournier and Reece Girodat lead the Cyclones with 19 points apiece through the opening nine games. Darby-Jayne Fletcher has 16 points in eight games. Joelle Gallias leads the Shamrocks with 15 points in 11 games.

Keara Zoerb has appeared in all nine of the Cyclones games in goal and is third in the league with a 2.00 goals against average.

Saturday's game in Gull Lake is slated for 2:30 p.m. and Sunday's tilt gets underway at 12 p.m.
