The Swift Current Kabos Raiders lost 7-5 to the visiting Regina Pat Blues after holding a 4-0 lead

The Swift Current Kabos Raiders were unable to capitalize on a four-goal lead as they dropped to 1-14-1 in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League Wednesday.

The Raiders led the visiting Regina Pat Blues 4-0 after one period but eventually suffered a 7-5 loss.

Tyde Hutchinson scored twice for the Raiders and Jonas Sadden, Dayne Stenson, and Braden Levac added singles.

Hunter Lamb, Brendan Hale, and Logan Fritzke added two assists each, while Dryden Smith and Jesse Wellsch chipped in singles.

Regina captain Matthew Chekay led the comeback as he finished with four goals and one assist, including the game winning goal with 7:04 left and an insurance goal with 2:26 remaining.

The Pat Blues remain second in the South Division with an 11-5-0 record, while the Raiders remain 10th in the South.

The Raiders will be on the road this weekend to visit the Weyburn Wings (5-6-2) on Saturday and the Estevan Bruins (8-7-2) on Sunday.
