Swift Current Broncos captain Adam Lowry has been selected as a Western Hockey League Eastern Conference First-Team All-Star.
Lowry was the only unanimous selection to the First Team All-Star roster which also features forwards Curtis Valk (Medicine Hat), Michael St. Croix (Edmonton), defencemen Darren Dietz (Medicine Hat), Morgan Rielly (Moose Jaw), and goaltender Patrik Bartosak (Red Deer).
Lowry was 12th in league points after scoring 45 goals and 43 assists for 88 points along with a +18 plus/minus rating.
Lowry also posted the league's longest point scoring streak this season with an impressive 21 game run from Nov. 27 to Jan. 15 where he rattled off 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points. Lowry also had a league season best eight game goal scoring streak where he notched 13 goals in consecutive games from Dec. 5 to Dec. 28.
