The 18U Boys Junior Sundogs volleyball team had another successful weekend capturing a bronze medal in Moose Jaw Sunday.
The boys came out and set a tone early against Moose Jaw B winning in straight sets (25-7, 25-21). The next game put the Junior SunDogs up against a talented Moose Jaw A squad. The game was hard fought with exciting two-way play but the Sundogs came up short in straight sets (17-25, 20-25).
Their third match put them up against Regina where they played a lot of back and forth ball but couldn’t put Regina away when they needed to with scores of 12-25, 25-21 and 12-15. This loss put them into the bronze medal game where they dispatched of Martensville in two straight games (25-23, 25-21) for the win.
