The Swift Current Broncos scoring woes continued Saturday in a 2-0 loss to the host Medicine Hat Tigers.

Marek Langhamer made 37 saves to defeat the Broncos for the second straight night.  The Czech import stopped 67 of 68 shots during the home-and away set and now has three of his 12 wins on the season against the Broncos.

Curtis Valk gave the Tigers the lead with his 38th goal of the season in the first period and Boston Leier added an empty net goal to seal the win.

The win clinched the season series for the Tigers as they won three of the four games and moved four points ahead of the Broncos with a 32-28-21 record.

Swift Current remains seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 28-27-3-4 record. The Broncos have only three points in their past six games after being shutout for the fourth time this season.

Eetu Laurikainen was tagged with the loss after allowing one goal on 23 shots to drop to 22-21-2-4.

The Broncos will be back at home Sunday for their third game in as many nights when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings (21-36-3-2) at 7 p.m.
