The Swift Current Broncos have now lost three of their past four games after falling 4-1 to the Saskatoon Blades Saturday.

Michael Ferland scored three goals for the Blades, including the eventual game winner 6:01 into the second period and an empty net goal to seal the win. Matej Stransky added a powerplay goal for Saskatoon, his 26th of the season.

Richard Nedomlel scored the lone goal for the Broncos on the powerplay in the first period to tie the game 1-1 after Ferland had given the Blades the lead.

Eetu Laurikainen made 38 saves in the loss, while Andrey Makarov picked up the win with 27 saves.

The Blades moved into fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 27-21-0-3 record. The Broncos remain seventh with a 25-23-3-2 record.

The Broncos will be off until Friday when they host Saskatoon at the Credit Union iplex.
