A torrid month of December has resulted in HUSKY WHL Player of the Month honours for Swift Current Broncos captain Adam Lowry.
Lowry, 19, registered 21 points during the month of December with 13 goals, eight assists, and a plus-seven rating.
The 6’5’’ centre is currently riding a 15-game point streak with 27 points during a streak that began back on Nov. 27.
Lowry currently sits seventh in WHL scoring with 53 points in 41 games and had already set career highs with 25 goals and 28 assists.
The Calgary native posted five multiple point games in December, notching hat tricks on Dec. 5 in Kelowna and Dec. 16 against Kootenay, and was named the First Star in three December games.
Lowry is a 2011 third-round pick of the National Hockey League’s Winnipeg Jets and was originally drafted by the Broncos in the fourth round of the 2008 WHL Draft.
