The Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Swift Current Broncos announced that the “Rider Pride Hockey Challenge” presented by SaskCanola will be making a stop in Swift Current to take part in a special hockey game where members of the Roughriders organization will go head-to-head against Broncos alumni on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 12-2:30 p.m. at the Credit Union iPlex.
The special game will feature several members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders organization, including Kory Sheets, Weston Dressler, Chris Getzlaf and Brendon LaBatte and Broncos alumni, including Sheldon Kennedy, Todd Holt and Jeremy Rondeau. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Swift Current Minor Football and the Broncos Education Fund.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 7th at 9 a.m. and are $20 for adults, $10 for students (12-18) and $5 for children (12 and under). Tickets can be purchased over the phone (306) 773-1509, at the Broncos souvenir store, The Stable, or from any Swift Current minor football player or coach.
The Roughriders and Broncos alumni will be taking part in a special post-game autograph session for all game ticket holders.
