The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club is excited to announce their participation in the 2012 Movember campaign.  11 Broncos will be growing moustaches throughout the month of November in support of male cancer research.

This year’s “Mo Bro’s” are: Adam Lowry, Dalton Reum, Reece Scarlett, Bobby Zinkan, Daniel Dale, Tanner LeSann, Levi Bews, Landon Bow, Brent Benson, Josh Derko, Ryon Moser.

Fans can make a donation and help the Broncos in their fight for a cure by visiting the Broncos official Movember page, http://scbroncos.com/page/movember-2012, or at the donations boxes set up in the lobby at Bronco home games.  The goal for the month is to raise a total of $5,000.

The funds that Movember raise are invested in programs that address the strategic priorities Movember has identified, related to both prostate cancer and male mental health.

The Broncos will also be running a month long poll for the first-ever Fans Choice Award designed by Jared McKenzie.  Fans can submit their vote on the Broncos website (www.scbroncos.com) for their favourite Bronco moustache throughout the month.  Photos will be uploaded on a weekly basis to give fans a frequent update on the player’s moustaches with the winner being announced on December 1.

The Broncos would like to encourage Swift Current and surrounding communities to support this initiative and would like to send a big thank you to everyone who has supported and continues to support their charitable and community initiatives.
