Two days after releasing veteran Adam Rossignol, the Swift Current Broncos have announced they have traded his rights to the Regina Pats.

Regina picked up the 19-year-old Rossignol in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.

Rossignol was entering his first full season with the Broncos after being acquired from the Kootenay Ice back in January in exchange for defenceman Tanner Muth. In 32 games with the Broncos last season as an 18-year-old, the Surrey, BC product had three goals, eight points, 26 penalty minutes and a -14 plus/minus rating.

Rossignol had a goal and three points in a trio of pre season games before being released and then traded.
