The Swift Current Broncos finished the preseason on a high note with a dominating 8-1 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in Gull Lake Saturday.

Daniel Dale led the way with a hat trick and hometown boy Justin Spagrud also scored in the Broncos fourth straight win.

Landon Bow stopped all 16 shots he faced and Steven Myland made 15 saves on 16 shots in the Broncos goal.

Graham Black, Coda Gordon, Chance Lund, and Adam Rossignol also scored in the win. Rossignol scored on a third-period penalty shot during a three-point night.

Shane Danyluk scored the lone Raiders goal in the third period to cut the deficit to 5-1.

The Broncos scored three powerplay goals during the penalty filled affair and also held the Raiders without a goal on five man-advantages.

The Broncos will open the regular season Friday in Moose Jaw. The home opener will be Saturday in Swift Current.
