Broncos edge Warriors again

The Swift Current Broncos moved above .500 in the preseason with a 3-2 win over the host Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday. The Broncos scored the first three goals and held on for the win despite allowing two late goals in the final 2:12.

Richard Nedomlel netted his second of the preseason and Colby Cave and Dalton Reum both added powerplay goals in the win.

The Broncos finished two-for-three on the powerplay and killed off all four Warriors’ man-advantages in front of 3,364 fans at Mosaic Place.

Steven Myland continued his strong preseason with 28 saves on 30 shots in the win. Daniel Wapple suffered the loss with 20 saves on 23 shots.

The Broncos will be in Prince Albert for preseason action Thursday against the Raiders. They will play their final preseason game on Saturday in Gull Lake when they host the Prince Albert Raiders.
