The Swift Current Southwest Terminal PeeWee Broncos were eliminated from the Saskatchewan Hockey Association provincial playoffs in a 9-1 loss to the powerhouse Yorkton Terriers on Thursday evening.

The Terriers, who have out-scored their South Sask PeeWee AA Hockey League opponents 219-25 during 20 regular season games, had won the first game of the two-game, total-goal series 14-1 on Jan. 22.

Caleb Stevenson scored the lone goal for the host Broncos with nine minutes remaining in the third period as they were out-shot 35-12.

The PeeWee Broncos currently sit fifth in the South Sask League with a 3-9-1 record.

They will host the Melville Millionaires on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m. at Fairview East Arena. Melville is three points back of Swift Current with a 2-13-0 record.
