Legionnaires win Kelowna tournament opener

The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires opened the 12-team Kelowna International Major Midget Tournament with a 5-4 win over Okanagan Hockey Academy on Wednesday evening.

The Legionnaires will continue their round robin schedule in the Tim Hortons Division on Thursday against the Ridge Meadow Lordco Rustlers (1-0), who play out of Maple Ridge, B.C.
