The Regina Pats added another win at the expense of the Swift Current Broncos on Friday night, earning a 4-0 shutout win to remain perfect in the season series between the TransCanada rivals.

Six of Regina's 17 wins this season come courtesy of wins over the Broncos, while Swift Current falls three games below the .500 mark.

Pats goaltender Damien Ketlo stopped 47 shots to record his second shutout of the season. Ketlo turned aside 29 shots in the opening two periods and was blitzed with 18 shots in the third period during his second career shutout. His two career shutouts have both been at the expense of the Broncos, as he also shut them out 2-0 on Oct. 22.

Offensively, the Pats were led by a one-goal, two-assist performance by Jordan Weal. Weal now has a team leading 21 goals and 57 points. Weal and Garrett Mitchell with his 13th of the season sparked the Pats to a 2-0 first period lead, while Lyndon Martell and Tanner Olstad both counted their fifth of the season in the middle frame to round out the scoring.

Broncos starting goaltender Mark Friesen fell to 22-22-0-1 after yielding three goals on 10 shots in 24:20 of action. Austin Smith finished the game in goal, turning aside 13 of 14 shots.

Swift Current falls to 23-26-0-1, while Regina improves to 16-24-5-1 and are seven points back of the Broncos in the East Division standings.
