Shaunavon's Corey Bailey now holds a three-shot lead at the Saskatchewan Junior Men's Golf Championship in Nipawin after shooting a second day even par 72.
Bailey shot a two under par 70 on Monday to start the three day championship at Nipawin's Evergreen Golf Course. Bailey's two round total of two-under-par 142 gives him a three stroke advantage over Tyrin Foley of Bengough who is one over par after 36 holes.
Kirk Humphrey from the Elmwood Golf and Country Club is in a three-way tie for seventh with a nine-over-par 153. Austin Paulhus from the Chinook Golf Course is tied for 20th with identical rounds of 80 for a two-day 160 (+16). Sask Landing Golf Resort golfer Blake Morrow sits 34th after rounds of 80 and 88 for a two day 169 (+24).
In action in the Saskatchewan Junior Women's Championship, Hannah MacNeil from Shaunavon sits fifth after two days with a 203 after firing a 96 during day 2.
