Fans have a chance to compare their impressions on the Saskatchewan Roughriders with fans across the province by following the Rider Tracker launched by Insightrix Research Inc.
The site features an ongoing online poll conducted with fans in regards to their impressions of the Roughriders’ performance and their Grey Cup potential.
The site, www.letsgoriders.com, first launched in 2011, features both a team performance index and a Grey Cup confidence index, along with analysis and discussion by fans.
Polling is conducted through SaskWatch Research, Insightrix’s online panel with over 11,000 Saskatchewan residents. Poll results are posted on www.letsgoriders.com each Thursday, prior to the next game.
Panel members are asked specific questions about the team to gauge reaction to the Riders overall team performance in each game, plus get reaction on specific portions of team play (such as the O-line, D-line, special teams, coaching, etc.). Newly added for this season is a score predictor where fans can take a stab at guessing the final score for the upcoming ‘Rider game.
After last year's 5-13 season, this year's index was riding high after a 3-0 start to the season. After the Riders week four overtime loss to the Calgary Stampeders, modest declines were recorded, but fans remain upbeat about the Riders chances over the remainder of the season.
