Kirkpatrick knocked out of SaskTel Tankard

Swift Current’s Max Kirkpatrick was knocked out of the 2013 SaskTel Men’s Tankard in Melfort Friday evening with a 10-5 loss to Saskatoon’s Kevin Marsh in the C Event.

Kirkpatrick fell behind 3-0 after the first end and 5-1 after three ends before scoring two in the fourth to trail 5-3. Marsh scored singles in the fifth and sixth ends before Kirkpatrick countered with two in the seventh. Marsh ended the game with three in the ninth for a 10-5 win.

Kirkpatrick was joined by Shaun Meachem, Jeff Chambers, and Shawn Hebert at the Tankard.
