A third period goal by Charles Inglis was the difference as the Saskatoon Blades handed the Swift Current Broncos another frustrating loss.
Inglis scored the only goal of the final period to lift the Blades to a 2-1 home ice victory, extending the Broncos current losing skid to four games and they fall to .500 with a 9-9-0-1 record. More frustrating is the fact the Broncos remain winless on the road with a disappointing 0-7-0-1 mark.
Saskatoon, who have won seven in a row, also had a second period goal from Curtis Hamilton in a frame they outshot the Broncos by a 19-8 margin.
Cody Eakin is now tied for the league scoring lead with 18 goals after the Broncos top gun scored Swift Current's lone goal in the opening period.
Saskatoon goaltender Steven Stanford made 22 saves to collect the victory and improve to a perfect 6-0 on the season.
Broncos netminder Morgan Clark stopped 30 of 32 shots in the loss (7-5-0-1).
Swift Current had one powerplay goal in six chances, with Saskatoon failing to collect a marker in their six chances.
