A six game Swift Current Indians win streak ended at home on Wednesday night when the visiting Medicine Hat Mavericks earned an 11-5 win over the Tribe at Mitchell Field.
Medicine Hat's Sheldon Daquioag launched a three run home run in the top of the eight to break open a 5-3 game and power the visiting Mavericks the victory.
The wide open offensive game featured 16 runs and 25 hits, with the game featuring a run in seven different innings.
Medicine Hat flexed their offensive muscles with two run innings in the fourth and fifth innings on top of their three run explosion in each of the final two innings. Seven different Maverick batters collected hits, and eight different Medicine Hat players reached home plate.
Offensively the Indians were led by a three hit games by leadoff hitter Josh Johnson and designated hitter Justin Lee.

Tribe starting pitcher Zach Manley was tagged with the loss after yielding five runs on eight hits while striking out six during six and one third innings of work.
Swift Current had scored a 4-2 road win in Medicine Hat on Tuesday to win their season high sixth in a row.
The loss drops the Indians record to 12-10 and a half game behind the Moose Jaw Miller Express for top spot in the WMBL's Central Division. Medicine Hat is the second league team to reach the 15 win plateau as they now sit with a 15-9 record.
Swift Current begins a five game road swing in Regina on Thursday night against the Red Sox, but they then swing into Alberta for games against Lethbridge on Friday and Saturday. The Tribe are then in Saskatoon on July 7 and Moose Jaw on July 8.
The Tribe's next home game is July 9 against visiting Saskatoon.
