Indians third baseman Justin Lee put the tag down on Saskatoon's Tyler Kent after a strong throw from centre fielder Liam Goodall in the third inning.

The Swift Current Indians avoided having another game rained out but fell to 0-2 in a 7-1 loss to the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets Tuesday.

The game's opening pitch was delayed by thundershowers until 8:20 p.m. and the Indians scored the first run when Matt Spillman came in on a Kevin Bettencourt sacrifice fly in the first inning. It was all Saskaoon after that as Jake Hein held the Tribe to two hits and one unearned run over eight innings.

Fernando Pena took the loss with 10 hits and five earned runs allowed over seven innings.

The Indians will look for their first win of the Western Major Baseball League season on Thursday when they host the Lethbridge Bulls (2-2) at 7 p.m. at Mitchell Field.
