Swift Current Indians

The Swift Current Indians and Melville Millionaires are tied after two games in their best-of-five Eastern Conference playoff series.

Melville evened the series Wednesday in Swift Current with a 9-1 win in game two. Alex Webb picked up the win for Melville with six scoreless innings of four-hit ball, walking two and striking out three. Sean Callegari suffered the loss for the Tribe, allowing 10 hits and four runs, three earned, over seven innings.

Matt Henriksen accounted for the only Swift Current run when he hit a solo homerun in the eighth inning, his second of the postseason.

Games three and four will be played Thursday and Friday in Melville. Game five, if necessary, will be played Saturday in Swift Current.
