One day after using a 10-run inning to secure a victory, the Swift Current Indians notched a pair of six-run innings to defeat the host Saskatoon Yellow Jackets 15-9.

The two teams combined for 34 hits, but the Tribe scored six runs in the second and six more in the fourth to blow the game open.

Leadoff man David Greenstein doubled twice, singled, walked, scored four runs and added three runs batted in for the Tribe. Cam Newell had four hits, walked, scored, and added two RBI. Jack Thompson added three singles, scored twice, and knocked in a run.

Starter Eric Huson picked up the win, allowing five earned runs over five innings before relievers Chris Haddeland, Reilly Grose, and Taylor MacDonell closed things out.

The Indians (21-17) increased their Central Division lead to four games with their second straight win. They will host the Lethbridge Bulls (22-16) for a Monday double header beginning at 6:05 p.m. at Mitchell Field.
