The Swift Current Indians scored four runs in each of their final two at-bats to pick up their seventh win in eight games with a 9-3 win over the visiting Edmonton Prospects.

The Tribe trailed 2-1 in the seventh inning before scoring four runs to take the lead and then followed up with four in the eighth to seal the win.

Alex Tufts earned the win, allowing seven hits and two runs over seven innings. He walked only one, while striking out eight.

Mitch Ludtke earned the save with a scoreless eighth inning.

Cody Phipps had a good night with a triple and a single, two runs scored, and a run batted in from the nine hole.

Third baseman Alex Mortensen had a pair of hits, scored once, and knocked in a pair.

The Indians improved to 16-14 in the win, while Edmonton remains last in the Western Major Baseball League with a 6-24 record.

The Indians wil begin a four-game road trip in Lethbridge on Friday and Saturday against the Bulls (17-14).
