Bantam Indians advance past White Sox

The Swift Current Bantam Indians advanced past the Regina Bantam AAA Baseball League quarterfinals with a 7-1 win over the visiting Regina White Sox Tuesday.

Matt Bissonnette made the start and picked up the win in a dominating performance on the mound.

The Bantam Indians will be off to Melville for a weekend tournament, billed as Canada’s largest three-day baseball tournament.

The Indians will continue their league playoffs next Tuesday in the semifinals.
