Wall named to Team Canada

Swift Current’s Bradi Wall helped Team Alberta to a bronze medal at Baseball Canada’s Senior Women’s Invitational in Granby, Quebec last week capped by a 13-0 win over Nova Scotia in the bronze medal game.

Swift Current’s Bradi Wall helped Team Alberta to a bronze medal at Baseball Canada’s Senior Women’s Invitational in Granby, Quebec last week capped by a 13-0 win over Nova Scotia in the bronze medal game.

Wall, who plays second base for the Swift Current Midget Indians, took the field for Team Alberta as a pitcher, catcher, third baseman and shortstop during the tournament as they finished 1-3 during the round robin.

Alberta opened the event with a 7-2 win over Quebec as Wall finished one for three with a run scored.

Friday Alberta fell 1-0 to Quebec and 14-4 to Ontario.

Saturday they dropped a 6-4 loss to Nova Scotia as Wall finished one for three with a walk and a run scored.

Wall’s performance at the tournament earned her one of 30 spots on the National Team that will split into two teams for the Baseball Canada International Women's Series Championship which will also include entries from Japan and the United States.
