SWAC badminton players won three medals at the SHSAA provincial badminton championships in Warman on May 10. Congratulations to the gold medal duo of Adam Keith and Kaleisha Heggestad from Frontier!

Adam and Kaleisha went through the entire playoff season without a loss. They were undefeated at sectionals, districts, regionals and provincials!  At Warman, they were first in Pool A with a 3-0 record. They recorded 2-0 wins over Carrot River, Loon Lake and Wawota. In the semi’s, they faced a team from Milestone and won 2-0. In the final, they defeated a team from Saskatoon Bishop Mahoney 2-0. Job well done Adam, Kaleisha and coach Kelby Coburn.

They posted wins over Regina LeBoldus (2-1) and Unity (2-0) and a loss to Melfort (2-1). In the semi final, they lost to the eventual gold medal winners from Saskatoon Evan Hardy (2-0).
